DYPHENE® 669 C by Western Reserve Chemical is an oil soluble, heat reactive, 100% phenol formaldehyde resin. Provides good specific adhesion and tack retention properties. Imparts good cohesive strength with moderate dry time. It is soluble in dry oils, ketones, higher alcohols, glycol ether, terpenes, chlorinated solvents, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is insoluble in methanol and ethanol. DYPHENE® 669 C is recommended for used in general purpose neoprene elastomer adhesives and light colored cements.
