Ultrafuse® PPSU

Ultrafuse® PPSU by BASF 3D Printing Solutions is a flame-retardant, high-performance polyphenylsulfone (PPSU). Possesses high strength and outstanding thermal stability. Build on BASF’s Ultrason® materials, it is specifically developed for FFF 3D printing. Suitable for applications where engineering plastics such as polyamides (PAs) and polycarbonates (PCs) reach their limitations. Recommended for aerospace cabin interior & trolleys, powertrain (contact to engine oils), plug-in connectors and all applications exposed to high temperatures. Exhibits highest temperature resistance, excellent layer adhesion, superior chemical resistance to fuel, engine oils and disinfectant. Offers good resistance to hydrolysis and superheated autoclavable steam. Ultrafuse® PPSU passes FAR 25.853 (a) flammability tests at 1.59 and 6.35 mm thickness.
