Ultramid® B33 01

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by BASF
Ultramid® B33 01 by BASF is a polyamide 6 grade of medium viscosity. It possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. It provides good toughness at low temperature, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. It exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. It is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solution of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. It is processed by extrusion method. It is used for biaxial oriented and cast film and monofilaments. Ultramid® B33 01 complies with RohS compliant 2011/65/EC, WEEE compliant 2002/96/EC, 21 CFR 177.1500, EU Directive 2002/72/EC and "X Polyamide", 1.6.1998 regulations.
