Borcoat™ HE3450-H

Borcoat™ HE3450-H by Borealis is a bimodal, recyclable, high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. It contains finely dispersed carbon black which provides excellent weathering properties. Exhibits good melt strength, very good environment stress crack resistance (ESCR), excellent mechanical properties at low and high design temperatures. Designed for processing by flat die or crosshead extrusion. Borcoat™ HE3450-H is recommended as a top coat for a three layer PE system used in steel pipe coating.
