Marlex® 7109M Polyethylene (Old Name: MarFlex® 7109M) by Chevron Phillips Chemical is an ethylene-hexene linear low density polyethylene copolymer. It is suitable for blown film extrusion application. Marlex® 7109M Polyethylene exhibits good toughness properties, good drawdown and excellent processability. It contains slip (1600 ppm) and antiblocking (6500 ppm) additives. It is used alone, coextrusion or blends with other polyolefins. Recommended for industrial films and bags, thin gauge applications and general purpose packaging. It is FDA approved.
