Marlex® 9005 Polyethylene by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a high density polyethylene hexene copolymer. It is processed by injection molding. This grade exhibits moderate flow, excellent impact strength, excellent ESCR, good warpage resistance and durability. It is used in industrial parts, seats, agricultural parts, food and household containers. Marlex® 9005 Polyethylene complies with ASTM D4976-PE 233, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.2a and UL94HB yellow card per UL file E54700.
