Marlex® 9346 by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a high density polyethylene grade. Is suitable for processing by pipe extrusion. Possesses good long-term hoop strength, very high melt strength and outstanding low temperature toughness. Used in pressure pipe applications like municipal pipes, industrial pipes, mining pipes, oil and gas-gathering pipes. Complies with ASTM D4976-PE 235. Meets ASTM D3350, Class PE445574C, NSF Standards 14 and 61 for potable water and PPI designations PE 4710 when blended with an approved black concentrate.
