Marlex® H516HP by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a high performance, high density polyethylene grade. It has remarkable low temperature toughness, outstanding resistance to slow-crack growth, and outstanding resistance to rapid crack propagation. It also has high long-term hoop strength. It utilized pressure pipe applications, including pipelines for potable water, gas distribution, and other industrial pipes. It complies with ASTM D4976 – PE 235 and is NSF third party D2513 certified and NSF CSA B137.1 and B137.4 certified. Marlex® H516HP meets ASTM D3350, Class PE445574C and PE445576C, NSF Standards 14 and 61 for potable water and PPI designations for PE 4710 and PE 100 when blended with an approved black concentrate.
