ELVAX™ 210W

ELVAX™ 210W by Dow is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 28%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer, an amide additive and slip. It exhibits flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. It can be processed by injection molding, compounding, sheet & shape extrusion, structural foam molding, blow molding and wire coating. It can also be processed using conventional rubber processing techniques such as Banbury, two-roll milling and compression molding. ELVAX™ 210W is recommended for non-peelable sealants and industrial applications. It can be used as strippable semi-conductor insulation shields. It is suitable for extremely tough, heat resistant jackets for automotive ignition and low-smoke cables. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
