ELVAX™ 240W

ELVAX™ 240W by Dow is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 28%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. Contains slip, butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer and an amide additive. Exhibits flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. Offers flexibility, resilience, environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR) and is lightweight, favorable value-in-use and economics. Designed for structural foam molding, sheet & shape extrusion, blow molding, wire coating, and compounding processing techniques. ELVAX™ 240W is recommended for industrial applications. It can be used in sealants and strippable semi-conductor insulation shields. Suitable for extremely tough, heat resistant jackets for automotive ignition and low-smoke cables. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
