ELVAX™ 260A

ELVAX™ 260A by Dow is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 28%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. Contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. Exhibits flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. Can be processed by injection molding, structural foam molding, blow molding and wire coating. ELVAX™ 260A is recommended for industrial applications. Can be used as strippable semi-conductor insulation shields. Suitable for extremely tough, heat resistant jackets for automotive ignition and low-smoke cables. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
