ELVAX™ 40W

ELVAX™ 40W by Dow is ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 40%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer and an amide additive. It exhibits flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. It offers flexibility, resilience and environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR). It is lightweight, favorable value-in-use and economic. Designed for compounding, injection molding, structural foam molding, sheet & shape extrusion, blow molding and wire coating. ELVAX™ 40W is recommended for industrial applications, sealants and wax blends. It can be used as strippable semi-conductor insulation shields. It is suitable for extremely tough, heat resistant jackets for automotive ignition and low-smoke cables. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
