ELVAX™ 240A

ELVAX™ 240A by Dow is ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with vinyl acetate comonomer. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. Exhibits flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact and puncture resistance. It is suitable for processing by injection molding, structural foam molding, blow molding and wire coating. ELVAX™ 240A is recommended for industrial applications. It can be used as strippable semi-conductor insulation shield. Suitable for extremely tough, heat resistant jackets for automotive ignition and low-smoke cables. It complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
