ELVAX™ 3185

ELVAX™ 3185 by Dow is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade, filled with 32%wt vinyl acetate comonomer content. It contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant as a thermal stabilizer. It provides low-temperature heat sealing, flex crack resistance, excellent clarity, cling, impact- and puncture resistance. Designed for co-extrusion films, blown- and cast film extrusion methods technique for processing of polyethylene resins. ELVAX™ 3185 is recommended for thermal lamination of barrier film to tray and flexible packaging applications. Complies with Food and Drug Administration Regulation 21 CFR 177.1350(a)(1).
