IS -7985 by I. Stern and Company is a strong polyethylene terephthalate (PET) copolymer resin. This resin is produced by continuous melt phase polymerization followed by solid phase polymerization. Is a shatter-resistant, lightweight, non-reactive grade. IS -7985 is ideally suited for packaging of food, beverages, personal care products, pharmaceuticals and medical products. This product by I. Stern and Company is considered in compliance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Additive Regulation 21 CFR 177.1630, covering PET polymers.
