POVAL™ JP-18 by Japan Vam & Poval is partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It is soluble in water and easy to handle.

It is synthetic and available in the form of granules.
It can be used for general industrial applications such as span, filament, hard finish of textiles, clear coating, paper adhesive, re-moistenable adhesive, plywood adhesive, vinyl acetate emulsion polymerization, vinyl chloride suspension polymerization, film, gypsum board and photosensitive membrane.
