KURARAY POVAL 2-98 by Kuraray is a water soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) fully saponified grade. It is manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It is used as a binder in textile sizes based on its good penetration capacity and good adhesion. Exhibits high cohesion and toughness, low electrostatic charging and re-dissolving capacity of the dried film in water. KURARAY POVAL 2-98 has a shelf life of 12 months.
