Durethan® BG 30 X H2.0 901510 by LANXESS is a heat aging stabilized polyamide (PA 6) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber and glass sphere. It has great rigidity, little warpage, strong electrical insulation, and high mechanical strength. It has excellent toughness, low friction, dynamic load bearing, and outstanding processability characteristics. It offers excellent wear, abrasion, shock, and fracture resistance as well as noise and vibration reduction. It exhibits strong resistance to chemicals like fuels, lubricants, solvents, and cleaning agents as well as heat (170 to 200 °C over the short term and 80 to 160 °C over the long term). It can be processed by injection molding. Applications include gas tank caps, central lock systems, and central electric housings. Durethan® BG 30 X H2.0 901510 complies with REACH (Regulation EC No. 1907/2006) and RoHS.
