Akoalit PB 4268 WHITE

Akoalit PB 4268 WHITE by LyondellBasell is a weldable, polybutene-1 homopolymer grade. It is a premium highly isotactic polyolefin manufactured from butene-1 monomer. Provides good organoleptic properties, excellent long term hydrostatic strength at elevated temperatures combined with high flexibility. Offers good creep resistance and good thermal stability. Designed for processing by injection molding, pipe and sheet extrusion. Used for potable hot and cold water distribution applications. Typical applications include district heating, industrial, drinking water pipe, radiator connections, under floor heating, building and construction. Akoalit PB 4268 WHITE complies with ISO 15876, ISO 12230, DIN 16968 / DIN 16969, Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 and many other National Standards for PB-1 pipe applications.
