RTP 1000 SI 2 Z by RTP Company is silicone lubricated, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) grade. It consists of FDA compliant ingredients. Offers buzz-squeak-rattle (BSR) to eliminate noise caused by part movement and vibration with economical compound technology. It reduces stick-slip phenomenon by selecting materials based on Glide Factor data. It replaces oils and grease applied in messy secondary operations with internally lubricated plastics. Exhibits good wear-, friction-, scratch- and mar resistance. It is able to withstand high temperatures, pressure, velocity, chemicals and demanding tolerances. Possible applications include bearings, bushings, gears, highly cosmetic parts, piston heads, pulleys, rollers, seals, skid plates and syringes. RTP 1000 SI 2 Z is suitable for processing by injection molding.
