RTP 1005 FR A

RTP 1005 FR A by RTP Company is a flame retardant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) grade filled with 30% glass fiber. It exhibits easy flow, excellent physical and good processing properties. It possesses high heat resistance, chemical resistance, rapid crystallization, low mold temperature and fast cycle times. It provides cost-effectiveness, increased plastics ignition resistance & reduced flame spread speed, heat release and smoke generation. It can be processed using injection molding. RTP 1005 FR A can be used in industrial fan shrouds, components in electrical and consumer goods and power tool brackets or housings. It complies with UL94 V-0 flame rating. The use of desiccant dryer is required.
