FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCD944 (Europe) by SABIC is a flexible, ductile, thin-walled, non-reinforced, heat stabilized, impact modified, extrudable blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It is a non-halogenated, flame retarded, non-chlorinated and non-brominated grade. It exhibits superior thermal stability, very low water absorption, good electrical properties and low specific gravity. It offers mold release, hydrolytic stability, low creep sensitivity, good processability. It is used in electrical components, vehicles, devices & displays, electronics and infrastructure. FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCD944 (Europe) is processed by wire extrusion coating. It meets EN 50265-2-1 requirement and is IEC 60754 compliant. It is intended for evaluation in wire and cable applications such as optical fiber cable jacketing.
