ULTEM™ resin 1010F

ULTEM™ resin 1010F by SABIC is an unreinforced, amorphous, flame retardant polyetherimide (PEI) resin. Offers internal mold release, high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, low smoke & toxicity, good mechanicals in broad temperature range, low creep sensitivity and low shrinkage. It is suitable for processing by additive manufacturing, blow molding extrusion, film-, foam- & profile extrusion, compounding and injection molding. Provides good metal adhesion, high strength, good dimensional stability, good processability and electrical properties. Shows low food stain, low extractables, good chemical-, radiation (gamma, x-ray)-, UV-C-, and high heat resistance. It is transparent to microwave radiation and near IR. ULTEM™ resin 1010F is used in flexible food packaging, beverage, home decoration, consumer packaging, personal accessory, home & commercial appliances, and personal recreation. It is UL 94 V-0 and 5VA flame rated, EU food contact and RoHS compliant.
