ULTEM™ resin 2300R

ULTEM™ resin 2300R by SABIC is an amorphous, flame retardant, general purpose, polyetherimide (PEI) resin reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits good flow, internal mold release, low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage and good metal adhesion. It provides high heat- & chemical resistance, high stiffness and strength. Offers low toxicity & smoke, excellent dimensional- & hydrolytic stability as well as mechanical properties in broad temperatures ranges. It is designed for rigid packaging, aircraft interiors, defense, outdoor, lawn & landscape, semiconductors, heavy truck, automotive interiors, electrical devices & displays, building & construction, specialty vehicles, rail and wind energy. Recommended for sport/leisure, personal accessory, textile, bus, energy storage, home appliances, servomotor, electronic material handling, electrical components & infrastructure, personal recreation, composite, automotive under the hood, electronic material, commercial appliance, recreational vehicle, mass transportation, industrial, automotive, electrical & electronics, consumer, hydrocarbon and energy. ULTEM™ resin 2300R is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is UL 94 V-0 & 5VA rated and ECO compliant.
