ULTEM™ resin 9085 (Americas)

ULTEM™ resin 9085 (Americas) by SABIC is amorphous, flame retardant polyetherimide (PEI) and polycarbonate copolymer blend. It is high flow grade with low toxicity, smoke and flame evolution. Provides high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, chemical resistance, good mechanicals in broad temperature range. Exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, high strength and high heat resistance. It is processed by injection molding and profile extrusion. ULTEM™ resin 9085 (Americas) is used in aircraft interiors, defense, additive manufacturing, rail applications. It is ECO conforming and meets FAR 25.853 and OSU 65/65 regulations.
