Extir® A 7000 AE by Versalis Eni Group is a general purpose flame retardant expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade. Contains pentane as blowing agent and exhibits easy processing. Designed for injection molding process. Extir® A 7000 AE is used for production of low density blocks for thermal insulation sector. Typical applications are step sound insulation, lightening, low density elastified blocks for impact sound absorption (Trittschall) and blocks & slabs for road foundations and civil construction. Complies with DIN 4102 Class B1.
