Single-Stage or Two-Stage PET Blow Molding... That is the Question

PET Blow Molding processesPET bottles are always made in two steps. First a suitable preform is injection molded. Then this preform is brought to the right temperature and blown into a bottle. This process although simple, but requires a quality time to produce the bottles in bulk.

Fortunately, we have another strategy where the two steps could be integrated in one machine and we call that single-stage (or single-step) process. Potent single-stage process have made making of PET bottles way convenient than the double-stage process.
