Toray Research Center performed a detailed odor analysis to understand the cause of the odor in recycled polypropylene (PP).
Using high-resolution GC/MS, NPD and FPD combined with database of smell and multivariate analysis, the odor causing compounds i.e., D-Limonene and Linear alkane can be identified.
