PMMA (Acrylic)

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) is a synthetic polymer of methyl methacrylate. It is often used as a lightweight or shatter-proof alternative to glass and a reasonable substitute to polycarbonate (PC) when extreme strength is not essential. PMMA is very cost effective and offers outstanding transparency, excellent UV resistance, good dimensional stability, easy handling and processing. It finds applications in building and construction, optics, electrical and electronics, packaging, automotive, health and medical, and consumer goods.
