SANTOPRENE™ 271-80

SANTOPRENE™ 271-80 by Celanese is a specialty polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV). Exhibits softness, good colorability and excellent flex fatigue resistance. It is designed for use in non-fatty food contact applications. It is recyclable within the manufacturing stream and is shear-dependent. Suitable for processing by co-extrusion, profile & sheet extrusion, multi injection and injection molding. Used in filters, flexible grips, food containers, gaskets, kitchenware, living hinges, non-specific food applications, seals, tubing, white goods and small appliances. It can be used in food contact applications in the USA (FDA). SANTOPRENE™ 271-80 complies with RoHS and NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 51.
