Silopren™ LSR 4840

Silopren™ LSR 4840 by Momentive Performance Materials is a two-component liquid silicone rubber, sterilizable with ethylene oxide, steam and gamma radiation. It is easily pigmented with LSR color pastes. Offers biocompatibility, high thermal stability, high flowability, low viscosity, fast cure, neutral odor and taste. Exhibits high tear strength, excellent transparency, high stability to ozone and UV light. It reduces injection time and total cycle time. Designed for processing by injection molding. Silopren™ LSR 4840 is used in sealing elements, filters, diaphragms, wound drain bulb, sterilization mats, bellows, orthopaedics, respiratory masks, valves, urological catheters and parts for renal dialyzers equipment. Complies with USP Class VI, ISO 10993, BfR recommendation XV "Silicones" and FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 regulations.
