Hostaform® S 9243 XAP2™ LS 60/5880 by Celanese is a rigid, heavy-metal free, impact modified, elastomer-containing POM (polyoxymethylene) copolymer grade. Exhibits slightly lower hardness, good welding strength, outstanding chemical (solvents, fuels & strong alkalis)-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance.
  • Also exhibits toughness (up to -40°C), good heat distortion temperature (up to 100°C), very good slip/ wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption and higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers.
  • Also shows reduced emission and easy colorization.
  • Hostaform® S 9243 XAP2™ LS 60/5880 can be processed by injection molding.
