SURLYN™ 1652 Ionomer

SURLYN™ 1652 Ionomer by Dow is a zinc ionomer grade. It exhibits stiffness, foil adhesion, outstanding toughness at low temperature and low seal initiation temperature.
  • It provides high hot tack, moderate oil barrier, abrasion- and flex crack resistance.
  • It is suitable for processing by conventional extrusion coating, blown film-, cast film-, sheet extrusion and coextrusion.
  • It is used in sealant, pharmaceutical & medical device, general food-, meat & seafood-, liquid- and personal care packaging.
  • SURLYN™ 1652 Ionomer complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1330 (a), TSCA, GB 4806.1-2016, EN 71-3, EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE) and conforms to CONEG & EU 94/62/EC.
