SURLYN™ 8940 Ionomer

SURLYN™ 8940 Ionomer by Dow is a highly transparent sodium based ionomer. It exhibits stiffness, chemical resistance, toughness and thermoformability. It is suitable for processing by conventional extrusion, blow molding, injection molding, sheet- and tube extrusion. It is used for industrial, consumer, sports good, golf balls, mining, shock tubes and footwear applications. SURLYN™ 8940 Ionomer complies with TSCA, GB 4806.1-2016, EN 71-3, EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE) and conforms to CONEG, EU 94/62/EC.
