SURLYN™ 8945 Ionomer by Dow is a sodium ionomer of ethylene acid copolymer. It exhibits good cut resistance and impact durability in blends, and high transparency, stiffness and chemical resistance. It offers toughness and faster molding cycles. It is used in golf ball modification. It is suitable for processing by blow molding, injection molding and sheet extrusion. SURLYN™ 8945 Ionomer complies with TSCA, EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and conforms to CONEG & EU Directive 94/62/EC.
