LATAN 13 G/30

LATAN 13 G/30 by LATI is a polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer based compound reinforced with 30% glass fibers. Is a medium viscosity resin grade where comonomer units are causally added in repetitive blocks of trioxan. Possesses very good tribological properties, high dimensional stability, mechanical properties, stiffness, thermal stability, toughness and self-lubricant properties. Exhibits low moisture absorption, good inertness, good chemical- , wear-, oxidation- and hydrolysis-resistance. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Parts made from 13 G/30 is suitable for applications in hot water up to 80-90°C. Can be used in gears, cams, bushings and in various parts like electromechanical, hydraulic, automotive and other sectors.
