LATAN 13 S/20

LATAN 13 S/20 is a polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer based compound reinforced with 20% glass beads. Is a medium viscosity resin grade where comonomer units are causally added in repetitive blocks of trioxan. Possesses high dimensional stability, high mechanical properties, thermal stability, stiffness, toughness and self-lubricant properties. Exhibits low moisture absorption, good inertness, good chemical-, wear-, oxidation- and hydrolysis-resistance. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Parts made from 13 S/20 is suitable for applications in hot water up to 80-90°C. Can be used in gears, cams, bushings and in various parts like electromechanical, hydraulic, automotive and other sectors.
