EDISTIR® N 3982 by Versalis Eni Group is a polystyrene general purpose (GPPS) grade. Is suitable for food contact. Exhibits good flow, high heat resistance and low viscosity processing aid. Designed for extrusion coating and compounding (modifier) applications. EDISTIR® N 3982 is recommended for direct gassing extrusion of heavy gauge insulating boards (XPS) foamed by blowing agents alternative to CFC and HCFC and XPS insulation panels with improved environmental compatibility. Can be used as masterbatch carrier, modifier for thermoplastic elastomers and rubbers such as shoe soles and cables. Complies with ISO 1622-PS, E, 105-20, EU No 10/2011 and UL 94 HB Flame Rating (internal test).
