SANTOPRENE™ 8281-55B1MED by Celanese is a specialty polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. It is a soft, non-hygroscopic resin. Designed for excellent adhesion onto ABS, PS, PC, PMMA, ASA, andCOPE (cold insert or 2K [two-shot] molding. It is recyclable within the manufacturing stream and is shear-dependent. Recommended for applications requiring excellent flex fatigue resistance. Suitable for processing by injection- and multi-injection molding. Designed for use in medical and healthcare applications including soft-touch grips, seals, gaskets and strain reliefs. SANTOPRENE™ 8281-55B1MED complies with RoHS, meets ISO 10993-5 and USP (U.S. Pharmacopeia) Class VI requirements for plastics.
