COOLMAG 29 by Coolmag Thermo Conductive is a durable, low viscosity, thermally conductive, polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-based elastomeric compound of encapsulant two component system. It exhibits heat transfer, reduces hot spots and minimizes average temperature of systems. It shows electric isolation, and mechanical-, flame- and fire protection (retardant and extinction). COOLMAG 29 shows low stress, flame retardation, thermal shock, high water and chemical resistance. It has been specially designed for power transformers, semiconductors, automotive and high reliability power electronics, on board chargers (OBC), inverters and DC/DC converters in electric vehicles, inter-cell coating and protection in batteries, gap filler to interface with liquid cooling in battery packs. It complies with REACH (Regulation (EC) 1907/2006), RoHS II (Directive (EU) 2015/863 amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU). It has a shelf life of 12 months.
