MIPELON™

MIPELON™ is a series of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) grades by Mitsui Chemicals. The high molecular weight, coupled with the small particle size, makes MIPELON™ an ideal performance additive for use in coatings, greases & lubricants, plastics, rubbers, and other materials. Addition of MIPELON™ gives products superior abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and self-lubrication qualities. MIPELON™ also improves durability of products and enhances heat and water resistance of materials when used as an additive.

MIPELON™ can be added to various engineering plastics, such as Polyoxymethylene (POM), polyacetal, phenol, polyamide and general purpose resins to improve their overall mechanical properties.
