The three new launches represent Borouge’s commitment towards innovation, quality and customer needs. “Our focus on innovative and sustainable solutions will drive our growth and that of our customers.” said Youssef Taha, Vice President of Borouge’s Molding Marketing Centre. “We strive to create solutions with higher efficiency in every way, in material selection, energy consumption and carbon emission.”

BD265MO: New innovation focusing on safety and efficiency

BD265MO is a high impact block copolymer developed specifically for heavy-duty applications. Apart from offering high impact resistance and No Break properties at room temperature, it is also FDA-approved for food and child contact applications. This combination of safety, strength and resilience makes it suitable for strollers, child travel systems, high chairs and large plastic toys as well as heavy-duty pails, crates, pallets and luggage. BD265MO is also appropriate for winter and deepfreeze applications. In terms of processing, the MFR of 7 and Borstar Nucleation Technology (BNT) ensures superior property balance, allows for cycle time reductions of up to 20% and considerable energy savings without compromising impact performance of the article.

RJ766MO: High flow, excellent organoleptic, with good aesthetics

RJ766MO is the latest addition to the Borouge high-flow random polypropylene family, purposed-designed to combine transparency and very high flow with excellent organoleptic performance, making it ideal for transparent packaging and houseware applications. The combination of BNT and very high flow ensures that it can be processed with faster cycle time. This reduces carbon footprint and allows for increased productivity, lower energy use and lower production costs.

New BB2588 High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) enhances processability of extrusion blow molding bottles

BB2588 is a multimodal HDPE material that offers converters more versatile processibility over its predecessor BB2581, allowing them to reap the full benefits of multimodal resin performance without cumbersome machine adjustments and modifications. Based on the unique Borstar® multimodal technology, BB2588 delivers up to 10% higher stiffness and up to ten times better ESCR compared to unimodal HDPE resins. This provides the potential for downgauging, increases top load strength for better stackability and improves chemical resistance for product safety. BB2588 is intended for extrusion blow molded products, ideal for cosmetics, personal care, household and industrial chemical packaging.
